Reality TV personality Tolanibaj has opened up about getting death threats from Wizkid’s fans after she criticised the musician for what he said about Don Jazzy.

After an online dispute triggered by a tweet from Ladipoe of Mavin Records, Wizkid referred to Don Jazzy as an influencer, sparking the issue.

During a recent podcast episode of Bahd And Boujee, Tolanibaj voiced her astonishment at the strong reactions to her remarks. She questioned why she and their guest Nasboi were the focus of death threats for what she considered to be a trivial conversation.

“It’s just a podcast,” Tolanibaj stated, revealing the disparity between such reactions in Nigeria compared to other countries like the United States where podcast discussions typically do not attract similar threats.

In her words,

“ I received a death threat from Wizkid’s fans after we hosted Nasboi on this podcast. He also received death threats as well.

It’s just a podcast. What’s the death threat for? People have been doing podcasts in America and elsewhere but they don’t get death threats.”

In another story, TolaniBaj has stated publicly that she is in search for a serious romantic relationship.

Recently, TolaniBaj, who co-hosts the Bahd And Boujee Podcast with actress Moet Abebe, expressed her dissatisfaction with the difficulties in finding love.

She emphasised her own eagerness to commit to a committed relationship by questioning how someone could be living without their perfect spouse.

TolaniBaj said that she doesn’t think in playing games or employing methods while discussing her approach to seeking love. She wants to be loved for who she is instead.

TolaniBaj said she didn’t want to use tricks to get the attention of someone special; she just wanted to be seen and appreciated.

Before the upcoming season of her show, she expressed her desire to find her ideal match.
