‘I’ve forgiven Junior Pope for backstabbing me’ – Yul Edochie

Controversial Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has stated that he has forgiven his late colleague, Junior Pope, for allegedly “backstabbing” him.

According to reports, Yul Edochie recently accused the late actor of betraying him despite considering him a brother and close friend and supporting him in times of need.

Edochie also revealed that he did not mourn the late actor due to this perceived betrayal.

His statements sparked backlash, with many, including his aunt Rita Edochie, criticizing him for holding grudges against the deceased actor.

Despite forgiving Junior Pope, Edochie expressed that he was still deeply hurt by the alleged betrayal.

On his Instagram account, Edochie wrote, “Speaking about forgiveness. I forgive him completely. It hurts deeply when a friend you love, took like a brother, stood for and shown love over the years turns around to stab you in the back repeatedly without remorse.

“Sadly, that’s the world we live. Humans are filled with flaws. To err is human, to forgive is divine. I forgive him & wish his family the very best.”
