Popular Juju and Highlife musician, Iyun Janet Ajilore, widely known as Saint Janet, is dead.
NewsClick Nigeria reports that St. Janet became a sensation decades ago infusing lewd lyrics into her music.
A publisher and socialite, Otunba Femi Davies, announced the news early on Sunday with a post on his social media handles.

According to Davies, St Janet died during a brief illness.
He wrote: “St Janet (Iyun Janet Ajilore) a popular Nigerian Juju and highlife musician known for her vibrant live performances, energetic stage presence, and socially unfiltered party tracks is dead.
“She died after a brief illness on Saturday.”
