The Nigerian musician Kizz Daniel has said that he will not be performing in Lagos in December, mostly due to the nation’s present economic difficulties.

During a Friday night interactive session with fans on X (previously Twitter), the artist offered this update.

“Nah… [I] would rather do cho cho cho this December… Money no too dey Lagos this time.”

Recall that, Kizz Daniel announced a surprising decision to take a temporary break from releasing new music.

The singer disclosed that following the release of his highly anticipated EP, *Uncle K*, set to drop on November 29, 2024, he will pause creating new tracks until 2026. The announcement has left fans stunned, sparking widespread reactions across social media.

“My wife lost her mom to breast cancer, and I’m here mourning with her… Say a prayer for her mom, Vaddicts,” he wrote, appealing to his fanbase for their support and prayers during this challenging time.
