The Nigerian musician Kizz Daniel has said that he will not be performing in Lagos in December, mostly due to the nation’s present economic difficulties.

The singer disclosed that following the release of his highly anticipated EP, *Uncle K*, set to drop on November 29, 2024, he will pause creating new tracks until 2026. The announcement has left fans stunned, sparking widespread reactions across social media.

Alongside the announcement of his music break, the artist also shared a deeply personal tragedy, revealing that his wife recently lost her mother to breast cancer.
“My wife lost her mom to breast cancer, and I’m here mourning with her… Say a prayer for her mom, Vaddicts,” he wrote, appealing to his fanbase for their support and prayers during this challenging time.
