Korra Obidi laments multiple debit alerts in Mexico, says ‘Nigerian ‘Yahoo boys’ are learning’

Korra Obidi, a Nigerian singer and dancer, has taken to Facebook to express her outrage after her credit card was allegedly debited multiple times at an airport restaurant in Mexico.

Obidi, who admitted she could only console herself by laughing, said Nigerian yahoo boys were learning because she did not expect such alleged fraud in Mexico.

On Saturday, Obidi stated that she only used the card at the restaurant to purchase a Margarita drink, but she received up to seven debit alerts.

“Guys, first thing has happened in Mexico. I just got seven notifications…remember that place…the place that had the Margarita  ville…that I bought a $35 Margarita from? They have been charging this card for different fast foods, $225 here, $225 there. I’ve not even eaten dinner and someone has already been charging my card for different things.

“This is worse than Lagos, we are learning in their hands. Yahoo dey learn for their hand. Yahoo yahoo boys need to come and learn work from Mexico’s hands.”

Obidi claimed the suspect went to eat chicken wings with her money.

The singer, however, commended the Bank of America for coming through to her rescue in a fast manner.

“I’ve called the Bank of America. Thank God for the most amazing bank ever. I called them in five seconds, someone picked up the call and they blocked this card. I can’t eat, but they said they’re going to give me my money back,” Obidi said.
