Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker have joyfully introduced a baby boy into their family – this marks Kourtney’s fourth child and her first child with Travis.
As detailed in a Page Six report, numerous news sources shared the birth of the baby boy on Saturday. People, the first to break the news, was additionally confirmed by sources, with TMZ later receiving further validation from insiders.
Kardashian and Barker have not yet released an official statement regarding the arrival of their new addition.
Speculation had been swirling that the couple’s son would arrive soon, especially after the renowned drummer and reality star’s sister, Kylie Jenner, was seen at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles earlier this week.
Kardashian, 44, revealed her baby bump during one of Barker’s band’s concerts in Los Angeles back in June. During the event, she held up a cardboard sign from the audience with the message, “TRAVIS IM PREGNANT.”
The couple disclosed the gender of their baby boy at a rock ‘n’ roll-themed celebration in June. In a separate photo album shared by Kardashian to document the party, which was planned in less than 48 hours, Barker, 47, provided hints about their son’s name.
“I already know his name ?,” the Blink-182 rocker wrote, later saying he “like[d] Rocky 13” as an option.
In September, Kardashian garnered attention for sharing, and subsequently removing, a baby shower photo that featured the same baby name. Barker expressed his approval by “liking” a tweet that described it as a “cute” choice, later confirming their name selection.
Kardashian discussed the “terrifying” medical procedure in an October interview with Vogue, attributing an ultrasound with potentially saving their child’s life. However, she didn’t delve into specific details during that interview.
The “Kardashians” stars both had previous parenting experiences before their enduring friendship evolved into a romantic relationship in 2021.
In Barker’s case, he has two children, a son named Landon, who is 20 years old, and a daughter named Alabama, who is 17, from his previous marriage to Shanna Moakler. He also maintains a close relationship with his ex-wife’s daughter, Atiana, who is 24, from a previous relationship.
As for Kardashian, she is the mother of three children – a son named Mason, aged 13, a daughter named Penelope, aged 11, and a son named Reign, aged 8. She had these children while in a relationship with Scott Disick, and the two have been successfully co-parenting the trio in an amicable manner since their separation in 2015.
When it came to merging Kardashian and Barker’s families, the couple adopted a “the more kids, the merrier” approach.
Marrying the drummer gave Kardashian “more people to love,” she said during a May 2022 episode of her family’s show, adding, “I am really close with Travis’ kids, and I love them. … It’s a beautiful thing.”
In the subsequent year, Kardashian and Barker disclosed their intention to cease actively pursuing IVF treatment in their quest to naturally expand their family.
