Actress Laide Bakare responded to colleague Eniola Badmus‘s subtly offensive clothing at her book launch.

The movie star, who has reportedly been hinting at her book for almost a year, finally made it public over the weekend.

Laide hosted a book launch party where she was spotted with an orange cape and white attire, which led to internet jokes about her.

Badmus made fun of her on her Instagram page by asking who of her coworkers was dressed as Pastor Ajidara.

Laide Bakare noticed the sub and replied beneath Eniola’s comment area without naming names.

Bakare pointed out that rather than acknowledging her accomplishments, Eniola Badmus and certain coworkers are constantly on the lookout for her errors.

She claimed that after letting her admirers know that Eniola was seeking for trouble, the movie star was unable to conceal it any longer.

Bakare observed that she doesn’t cause trouble and questioned why it is that so many people enjoy harassing her.

She noted how Eniola Badmus had been her childhood friend as they grew up and studied at the University of Ibadan at the same time.

She is however assured that God will fight her battle.

“I had to Do this post before some of you got confused about who stated it o you can all see she started it. Hmmm, Na wa o. you will see the good ones and great Achievement, you will ignore!

“Have you ever congratulated me on any of my successes? CAPITAL NO. And not only you thou, including some of your colleagues in the Yoruba movie sector. Inu ni bini yin ti po ju.

“You guys can’t even hide it. But Always scanning for my mistakes to nail me. As gentle as I am they must surely come for me first. Because I’m not a Troublemaker honestly.

“Don’t know why every one of you loves to b-lly Me even this oneself wey be say na my childhood friend in the industry. We grew up together, studied at the University of Ibadan at the same time.

“Honestly, I’m confused but no problems sha Almighty God will fight my battle. I won’t fight back nor retaliate. So help me God cc @laide.bakarehub,” she wrote.
