Actress Laide Bakare has praised Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke as he completes his second year in office.
Laide Bakare, who secured an appointment with the Osun government months ago, commended the governor for his outstanding accomplishments in a short amount of time in a post on Wednesday on the photo and video sharing website Instagram.
She complimented him for his commitment and diligence and expressed excitement about his future endeavours. Laide Bakare penned:
“Happy 2nd Anniversary, His Excellency @aadeleke_01! So much success in a short time! So incredible to see all that you have accomplished. I can’t wait to see what’s next for you, sir. Thank you for your leadership, inspiration, and hard work. Hope you have an Amazing day on your work anniversary. We love you dearly,”
Earlier this year, Laide became closer to Governor Adeleke after being named the governor’s senior special assistant for entertainment, art, culture, and tourism.
The actress marked her official foray into politics by announcing her appointment in February, calling it a new chapter in her career.
She thanked the governor for giving her the position and promised to work hard for the Osun State people.
