Grammy-winning music star, Ayodeji Balogun popularly known as Wizkid, has revealed that life has lacked significance for him ever since the passing of his mother, Mrs. Jane Dolapo Balogun.
The artist shared his heartbreak on his Instagram story, expressing the profound impact of his mother’s death on his life. He revealed that life hasn’t regained normalcy for him since her passing.
Despite being a father of four, he mentioned that he created ‘IDK,’ one of his recent songs, in the aftermath of his mother’s death, emphasizing that life feels devoid of meaning.
In a separate post, he reflected on the idea that sometimes one must release everything and entrust the journey to God.
He wrote: “Made idk days after I lost my mum. Life’s been meaningless! But we dey!!
”Sometimes u got to let everything go. Work with God!.”
