Veteran Nollywood actor Pete Edochie has denounced the abuse of women by men, saying that those who attack women should not be referred to as men.

The actor disclosed that March 8th is International Women’s Day and that it is also his birthday while filming a commercial for Life Lager beer.

“A house only becomes a home when a woman moves in,” said Pete Edochie, emphasising the role that women play in establishing a cosy and loving household.

Pete Edochie gave advice to men, telling them that a woman’s strength is in her words and that a guy who attacks a woman out of anger is not deserving of the title “man.”

He continued by saying that any man who can get along with a woman is capable of leading a whole nation.
