Rapper Oladipupo Oladimeji, better known by his stage name Oladips, has voiced dismay at people’s scepticism about his “death and resurrection.”

It was reported by the management of Oladips that the rapper passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2023.

Rumours that Oladips “faked” his death were fueled by the eventual discovery that he was still alive.

Nonetheless, the rapper maintained that he died and rose again in a recent interview with Hip TV.

He claimed that even after making an effort to clarify his death and resurrection, many people continued to think it was a joke.

Oladips said, “I came back to life to see all the chaos and disbelief. But what can I do? What has happened has happened.

“How many people can I sit with and explain to? Because, obviously, a lot of people still think my death is a prank.

“Every time I tried to explain that it was a near-death experience and not a prank, people always show disbelief. But those who are close to me know that I died and resurrected.”

Recall that Oladips was among the most searched on google for 2023 in Nigeria.

Google unveiled annual analysis, Nigerians displayed heightened interest in local politics and lifestyle.

The prominence of these individuals at the top of the list, however, comes as no surprise.

Actress Moyo Lawal gained widespread attention when her intimate video circulated online, while rapper Oladips made a significant impact on the Nigerian entertainment scene in 2023, reportedly making a ‘resurrection’ of sorts.

Meanwhile, Peter Obi took a leading role in the 2023 election process, with his ‘Obidient Movement’ becoming a nationwide phenomenon.
