Popular Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo has expressed her views on what she believes is the main cause of divorce.
The actress alleged that men account for 95 per cent of failed marriages, attributing most breakdowns to neglect, emotional abuse, betrayal, and infidelity.
On her Instagram page, she wrote, “Men contribute 95 per cent in failed marriages.
“Many marriages fail because a significant number of men neglect, cheat, devalue, emotionally harm, emotionally stress, or betray their wives.”
She further said that the lack of accountability in relationships and society helps to sustain this behaviour.
Uche Ogbodo is currently in her second marriage. She tied the knot with her second baby daddy, Boby Maris, in October 2023, after her first marriage to Norway-based football agent, Ato Ubby, ended less than a year after it was contracted in 2013.
