Miss Universe Nigeria unveils 22 finalists for 2025 pageant

Silverbird Group, organisers of the Miss Universe Nigeria pageant, has unveiled the contestants for the 2025 edition of the competition.

The announcement was made on Tuesday through the pageant’s official Instagram page, revealing 22 contestants representing various states across the country.

The organisers noted that the contest is not just about physical beauty but also about advocacy, with contestants expected to promote initiatives in education, youth empowerment, healthcare, and gender equality.

The finalists moved into camp on Sunday at Festival Hotel, Festac, Lagos, where they will undergo grooming, fitness training, and mentorship sessions in preparation for the grand finale.

Voting has also commenced on the Miss Universe Nigeria website.

This year’s winner will represent Nigeria at the global Miss Universe pageant, lead advocacy campaigns, and serve as a public goodwill ambassador.

She will also receive a cash prize, the amount of which has yet to be disclosed, along with material gifts, brand endorsements, training opportunities, and paid appearances.

The 2025 Miss Universe Nigeria grand finale is scheduled for August 30.

  12. Enugu – Shalom Ozioko
  13. Gombe – Chibuzor Chijioke
  14. Imo – Queeneth Igbokwe
  15. Jigawa – Eleh Nneka
  16. Kaduna – Sophia Nelson
  17. Kano – Mbah Cynthia
  18. Kwara – Ufa Dania

The 2024 edition was won by Chidimma Adetshina, the embattled Miss South Africa contestant, who received a N10 million cash prize.
