Mohbad: Police declare Primeboy wanted, offer N1m bounty

The Lagos State Police Command announced on Wednesday that they have issued a wanted notice for Owodunni Ibrahim, also known as Primeboy. This action was taken after he did not respond to a police invitation regarding the ongoing investigation into the events surrounding the passing of the singer known as Mohbad, whose real name was Ilerioluwa Aloba.

Lagos police spokesperson Benjamin Hundeyin, who tweeted on their X handle, described Owodunni Ibrahim, aka Primeboy, as being approximately 1.64 meters tall, male, dark-skinned with tribal marks, and Yoruba by ethnicity.

According to the police spokesperson, Ibrahim’s most recent known address is 3rd Power Street, Oke Eletu, Ikorodu.

“If seen, contact the nearest police station or call 0803 688 5727,” Benjamin stated.

He made known that the state Commissioner of Police, CP Idowu Owohunwa, is going to give a sum of N1 million to anyone with useful information leading to his arrest.

“CP Idowu Owohunwa hereby offers a handsome reward of N1,000,000 (One Million Naira Only) to anyone with useful information leading to his arrest,” he posted.”

Mohbad, a former signee of Naira Marley’s record label, died in Lagos at the age of 27.
