Nollywood actress Moyo Lawal has finally responded to the leaked video of her that has gone viral online.
The video, depicting the actress involved in an intimate act with her ex-fiance, has sparked extensive online discussions. The prevailing sentiment among the majority is that the ‘A Time To Heal’ actress intentionally released the tape herself.
In a post on her Instagram page on Sunday, Moyo Lawal confirmed that she was the person in the leaked video, but she said that she did not permit anyone to share it.
“A private video of mine from a while ago has been inappropriately shared without my consent, violating my privacy and trust,” her statement began.
“I want to emphasize that this video was done with my ex whom I was to marry at that time, was never intended for public consumption and its unauthorized distribution is a breach of my boundaries. However this criminal breach of privacy will be treated with legal action,” the statement read.
