Big Brother Naija reality show star Ka3na Jones has warned outspoken social critic Martins Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, over his multiple arrests.
VDM, also known as VeryDarkMan, has been arrested several times due to accusations of defamation and cyberbullying.
His most recent arrest happened on Sunday in Abuja for allegedly slandering a person who is claimed to have conned a Nigerian living abroad.
This year, it was his third arrest.
In response to the ongoing arrests, Ka3na said that they might make it more difficult for him to move abroad or land a good career.
“@verydarkblackman my dear, you need to actually know what you are doing on social media. Only a visionless person would repeatedly let himself be registered in the Nigerian police negatively with countless lawsuits.
“You would understand the impact of this when you choose to seek quality employment or relocate abroad. No country will admit a countless offender of law from his own country. All these arrests are being registered on Google and police database. Please be cautious.”
Recall that, federal high court in Abuja has granted bail to controversial social media critic Martins ‘VeryDarkMan‘ Otse, who had been remanded in police custody for alleged cyberbullying.
The well-known figure on social media was also freed from police detention on Monday after meeting his bail requirements.
As of the time of this article, no specifics on the bail requirement had been made public.
Otse was charged with five counts of cyberstalking at the federal high court in Abuja on May 22.
The defendant allegedly uploaded films on his Instagram account with content that was “grossly offensive, pornographic or of an indecent, obscene or menacing character,” according to one of the allegations brought by the Nigerian police.
