Musician Harrysong bags political appointment in Delta

Nigerian singer Harrison Tare Okiri, popularly known as Harrysong, has been named the Executive Assistant on Entertainment to the Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori.

The singer of ‘Reggae Blues,’ Harrysong, disclosed the information to his fans through his Instagram page, sharing a copy of his appointment letter.

According to the letter, the appointment became effective on December 22, 2023.

Thankful to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, Harrysong expressed his appreciation for the trust placed in him with this office.

He pledged to utilize his position for the benefit of the Governor and the people of the state.

He wrote, “Newly appointed E.A (Executive Assistant) Entertainment to the Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff F.O Oborevwori. Thank you, my Governor.

“Now, address me as Hon. Superstar Harrysong. Thank you so much my Governor for entrusting me with this office to work. Deltans, get ready for ‘Kingmaker’ on March 30th. Sherrified and Ukodo International Festival 2024.”
