Muyiwa Ademola, a Nigerian actor, filmmaker, and movie producer, celebrated his birthday by releasing a remake of Ori, one of his most memorable works.
The 54-year-old revealed the new project, Ori: The Rebirth, along with a compilation video that included some of the best moments from the upcoming movie in a post on his Instagram page on Sunday, January 26.
In honour of his special day, Muyiwa Ademola asked his followers to support the film, which will be released in theatres on May 1, 2025, by reposting the video. He wrote:
“Happy Birthday to me 🥂🍾.
“Ori has moved from being just a film to something hugely phenomenal. 22 years after the film was made, a day would never pass without me meeting someone who would ask me to remake this film.
“Ladies and gentlemen, Ori: The Rebirth is ready! Hitting cinemas from May 1, 2025! The world must see Ori: The Rebirth. Please, journey with me again, guys. This is all I request from you for my birthday. Happy Birthday to me once again 🎁❤️🎁.”
