American actor and wrestler John Cena has opened up about being a parent and expressed his worries about being prepared for the associated duties.

John Cena mentioned his own objectives and aspirations in a recent interview with Club Shay Shay, expressing his doubt about spending the time required to be a wonderful parent.

John Cena emphasised the value of having open discussions about their same values and life decisions with Shay Shariatzadeh, his girlfriend.

While acknowledging that people often critique others’ decisions, he made a point of living life according to his own rules.

“My biggest fear is I don’t think I’m personally ready, nor will I ever be, to invest the time it takes to be a great parent,” Cena said

“Because I still have a lot to do and I still want to do a lot. I have a wonderful partner, we’ve had open conversations about this. We share the same values.

“It’s a tough subject to talk about because it immediately puts you in a category. People tend to judge. Human nature, we are all judgmental. But I operate under the construct that everyone is okay living their lives.

“I’m very happy with where I stand. I’ve a lot of joy and fulfilment in my life.”

In another news, John Cena announced he will be retiring from WWE.

During the WWE Money in the Bank event in Toronto, Canada, John Cena shared that he will be stepping away from in-ring competition in 2025.

The wrestling icon stated that his final matches will take place at the 2025 Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber, and WrestleMania 41, all set to be held in Las Vegas.
