Actress and pastor Seun Osigbesan, widely recognised for her role as Jennifer in the long-running series ‘The Johnsons’, celebrated her 40th birthday on Sunday amid warm tributes and emotional reflections.

At the celebration, her husband, who is also named Seun, featured in a viral video where he publicly praised her, recalling the early struggles of their marriage and the sacrifices she made to keep the family afloat.

He said that during a period when he had little financial stability, his wife took on most of the household responsibilities, paying bills consistently for about seven years without complaint.

He described her as a strong pillar of support who constantly encouraged him and believed in his potential even in difficult times.

He also spoke about the most challenging moments they faced, including periods when they struggled to afford basic needs such as diapers for their children.

According to him: “While I didn’t have anything, my wife was consistent and carried a lot of burdens and bills for seven years and never complained. She always tells me, ‘Baby, I believe in you.’ There was a time we didn’t have money to buy diapers, and she used black nylon as diapers for the children. The children ate pap for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and she never complained”

Osigbesan, who is also a pastor, author, and entrepreneur, has built a reputation over the years for balancing her family life with a successful career in the entertainment industry.

The birthday celebration drew widespread reactions online, with fans and colleagues praising the couple’s story of resilience, love, and perseverance.
