Nabila Fash threatens to sue Oritsefemi over defamatory statements

The musician Oritsefemi has received a cease and desist order from Nabila Fash, her ex-wife, for making defamatory statements about her.

According to reports, Oritsefemi said that his ex-wife Nabila had deceived him by accusing him of having children behind her back and cheating on her in their home. This revelation was made in an interview with media personality Jude Chidonwo.

The singer said that Nabila had 20 miscarriages during their marriage and that she had plotted to beat him up with her other 20 buddies.

Nabila was also charged by Oritsefemi with mistreating his children.

However, Nabila asked the audience to dismiss Oritsefemi’s interview, declaring that it was all false, in an interview with celebrity journalist Stella Dimoko Korkus.

Nabila reaffirmed in the cease and desist letter that the magazine above was able to get that Oritsefemi’s comments in the interview with Chude were all purposefully made up lies and fabrications meant to defame, ruin, and harm her reputation as well as subject her to mockery.

She further cautioned the artist not to address her as his wife, emphasising that their marriage was judicially dissolved on March 21, 2024 by the Lagos State High Court.

Nabila further stated that if Oritsefemi would not stop writing disparaging things about her and withdraw his remarks within a week, he would be subject to legal action.
