A heated online exchange has broken out between Laila Charani and Regina Daniels, two of Ned Nwoko’s wives, further intensifying the ongoing marital dispute involving Daniels and the politician.
The conflict moved to Instagram, where both women leveled strong accusations against each other.
The situation in the Nwoko household first escalated in October after a viral video showed Daniels crying and accusing her husband of domestic abuse.
Nwoko later countered, alleging that his wife was dealing with drug and alcohol addiction.
Daniels acknowledged using hard drugs but redirected blame to her husband, accusing him of manipulating her into addiction as part of a controlling pattern.
In an extensive Instagram statement, Laila alleged that the main issue stems from Nwoko’s refusal to tolerate Daniels’ alleged lifestyle habits.
She claimed her husband has always made it clear that he would not accept a wife who drinks, smokes, or uses drugs.
“How dare you say that you ever gave me money, for what exactly? I am very contented with the provisions my husband makes for our family. We should show Nigerians our bank accounts to see who is paying money to our accounts,” she wrote.
“You also know that my husband completely hates alcohol, drugs, and smoking. He has always been clear that he would never accept any wife who drinks, smokes, or uses drugs.
“The only reason you are fighting my husband is because he wants you to stop your drug and alcohol addiction. It has always been a serious matter for him, as he neither smokes nor drinks himself.
“You know too well that I almost lost my marriage when you introduced me to drugs 6 years ago and it was my husband’s quick insistence on intervention that rescued me from that dark path.”
Laila further labeled Regina a “bad influence,” accusing her of supplying drugs to domestic workers and even her younger sister Destiny.
She also claimed Regina had inappropriate relationships with “every single girl around you,” adding that this was why she refused to allow her daughters near her without supervision.
Laila urged Regina to prioritize rehabilitation and “leave the other wives out of this,” insisting that her comments came from “a place of truth and concern”.
“You have been a bad influence since you married into this beautiful family giving drugs to nannies and our workers including your younger sister Destiny,” she wrote.
“You infected everyone with your virus and this is why I will not trust my daughters around you unsupervised especially when I found out that you were sleeping with every single girl around you.
“Please go and sort yourself out. Seek help immediately and continue with your rehabilitation, and leave the other wives out of this.
“I say this not out of anger, but from a place of truth and concern for the level of lies that you are peddling for reasons that are known to you alone.”
Regina responded via her Instastory, dismissing Laila’s allegations as “useless and hurtful”. She portrayed herself as someone who cares deeply for many children.
She also addressed the claims about same-sex encounters sarcastically, writing, “How is the other woman so certain? lol. Is she so certain because I slept with her too?”
Regina further cautioned Ned to safeguard their children, emphasizing that their well-being is her priority.
“First off! Openly saying you can’t leave kids around me is the most useless and hurtful thing Ned ordered his retarded wife to say. I’m such a mother to so many children that it’s quite tiring,” she wrote.
“Also, saying i sleep with every single girl? Truthfully, sleeping with same gender isn’t a thing that I consider shameful but How is the other woman so certain? lol. Is she so certain because I slept with her too?
“I hope she also knows that if not for polygamy disadvantages, her son and mine can’t be together because of all the atrocities we have caught him doing that I will never mention! But My son loves him so what can I don! Ned better protect my kids! Their foundation is the ultimate and do not use them to weaken me!”
