Actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday has reacted to criticism surrounding her comment on a social media post by Funke Akindele, amid reports of a rift involving the latter and Toyin Abraham.
Nkechi had commented “La Funky” under Funke’s post, which sparked backlash from fans who accused her of taking sides against Toyin, who is widely believed to be her associate.
Responding to the reactions, the actress explained that her comment was made about 24 hours before the disagreement between the two actresses became public, stressing that it was not intended as a jab at Toyin.
She rejected the criticism, labelling those who attacked her as “stagnant” and “jobless” for drawing conclusions without confirming the sequence of events.
She wrote, “I made this video, and I didn’t want to post until the next slide. I dropped a comment 24 hours before the whole drama started yesterday. But some of this never do well; stagnant fans wey, ogun go kee. Went under that comment just a few hours to call me a hypocrite. Now that justifies my video.
“Listen, if you find yourself among those jobless so-called fans who do nothing but jam two celebrity heads together, you see this year? It will never be well with all of you. Una kuku sabi me Ogun kee all of una. Stagnant Fools from the pit of hell. Shade her? Omo make una kuku carry the whole life go heaven na! As peace is not sweet for some of you!”
