Nigerian singer Inetimi Alfred Odom, better known by his stage name Timaya has labelled Eedris Abdulkareem as “a talkative who no one is afraid of” in the music industry.
In a recent interview on Naija FM, the dancehall artist expressed his thoughts on Abdulkareem.
By drawing comparisons between Timaya and Abdulkareem, the host implied that people in the industry frequently dread both artists.
This idea was quickly refuted by Timaya, who claimed that he “does not talk or behave like Abdulkareem.”
The singer also made it clear that he values himself and wants others to value him as well.
“I no dey talk or behave like Eedris. Nobody Dey fear Eedris because he is talking too much. Right from time,” Timaya said.
“I don’t even want people to be afraid of me. I respect myself so that people can respect me too. Eedris and I never had any problem. The relationship we had was because I worked with him. I learned what I needed and moved.
“I don’t even think he knew my name at that time. I only just give him shoutouts because he was part of my story. We don’t have any reason to communicate.”
