Popular gospel singer, Nathaniel Bassey has publicly addressed his female fans, stating that he is dedicated to his wife and has no intention of getting married again.
During the Hallelujah Challenge’s grand finale, Bassey made a light-hearted remark about how he and his wife will age together, having already bought walking sticks for their future.
He prayed for the women who have feelings for him, asking God to put an end to their desires.
Bassey firmly stated that his wife’s position in his life is secure, and no one can take her place.
“Nobody will take my wife’s place, you’re only wasting your time. I don’t have any plans to marry anybody. We will grow old today; I’ve bought our walking sticks,” he stated partly.
Recall that, Nathaniel Bassey ministered at President Donald Trump’s inaugural prayer breakfast in Washington, DC.
The non-official, non-governmental event, which took place after Trump was sworn in as the 47th president of the United States, focusses on intercessory prayers and spiritual support for the new Trump and Vice President JD Vance administration.
After being asked to minister to the visitors, Bassey gave a stirring performance of his song “Take the Stage.”
He asked for God’s glory to be shown in the country and for Jesus to lead the White House through his music.
In addition, he prayed fervently for God to use Americans as His vessels in order to satisfy them.
“Please take the glory/ I’m satisfied/ Just to see you glorified/ Take the nation Lord and have your way/ We’re just your vessel/ And nothing more/ We’re satisfied/ Just to see you glorified/ Jesus, take the White House/ And have your way/ We’re just your vessels and nothing more/ When you’re done moving this nation/ Please take the glory/ We’re satisfied just to see you glorified,” he sings.
