Former president of the United States, Barack Obama, celebrated his wife Michelle’s 61st birthday by lavishing her with praise.
Obama, sixty-three, posted a picture of them holding hands across a table on Friday via X, calling her “the love of my life” who radiates “warmth, wisdom, humour, and grace”.
He conveyed his appreciation for their adventure together and highlighted how fortunate he was to accompany her on it.
“Happy birthday to the love of my life, @MichelleObama. You fill every room with warmth, wisdom, humor, and grace – and you look good doing it,” the post reads.
“I’m so lucky to be able to take on life’s adventures with you. Love you!”
Michelle and Barack got married on October 3, 1992, in Chicago. The union has been blessed with two children — Malia and Sasha.
In 2020, Michelle recalled the “tough times” she once faced in her marriage to Obama. She said they had to undergo counseling after the birth of their daughters.
“We went through a tough time, we did some hard things together,” she had said.
“But now we’re out on the other end and I can look at him and I still recognise my husband. He’s still the man I fell in love with.”
