Edo Governor Godwin Obaseki has wished singer Rema a speedy recovery.

The singer Rema, known for the song ‘Calm Down,’ has announced the cancellation of his December performances in Lagos, Abuja, and Benin due to health reasons. Edo Governor Godwin Obaseki has extended his wishes for a speedy recovery to the artist.

Reacting via his X (formerly Twitter) handle on Thursday, Obaseki said Edo people are proud of Rema and remain behind him every step of the way.

Obaseki wrote: “My Rema @heisrema, your remarkable achievements over the years fill us with immense pride and joy.
