Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Temilade Openiyi, known as Tems, has shared her admiration for Canadian artist Justin Bieber.
During her recent appearance on the Jennifer Hudson Show, Tems described Bieber as “one of the purest souls I have ever met.”
She praised the “Peaches” hitmaker for his kindness and support.
Tems also recounted how she brought Wizkid and Justin Bieber to join her during her Coachella performance earlier this year.
“I was meant to do this Coachella performance and Wizkid was in town so we asked if he minded coming on and he was like, yeah, of course, I’m going to come out.
“And then on the day of the performance, I got a text from Justin Bieber, he was like, ‘I’m around in case you want to bring me out.’
“Justin Bieber is one of the purest souls I have ever met, he’s so kind and such a supporter. And he came out, the ground was shaking. Everybody was loosing their minds. I was a bit startled. Justin, I love you!”
Wizkid, Tems and Justin Bieber worked together on the remix of the global hit ‘Essence.’
