Legendary fuji musician, Pasuma has finally settled a dispute with his former protégé, Taye Currency. The reconciliation reportedly happened in Mecca during the ongoing Umrah 2025.
In a viral video circulating online, the two Fuji stars were seen sitting closely and engaging in a conversation.
In 2024, what began as a mentor-protégé relationship turned into a feud, with the duo exchanging both subtle and direct jabs at each other on social media.
According to report, the feud began in October 2024 when Taye Currency rejected the idea of fans referring to Pasuma as his industry “father.” He clarified that Pasuma was more like an elder brother and could not be considered his father.
His statement sparked widespread discussions online, with Pasuma’s fans criticizing him for the remark.
Following the backslash, Taye Currency in a viral video, expressed regret for any offence caused by his statement, and apologised to Pasuma.
