Patricia Menyei Odiatu shines, wins #HAPAwards ‘BEST Supporting Actress’

Nigerian United Kingdom actress cum producer, Patricia Michael-Menyei Odiatu, keeps soaring high as she was adjudged the Best Supporting Actress [Motion Picture] at the just concluded Hollywood and African Prestigious Awards (HAPA), which held in Los Angeles, USA.

Odiatu who hails from Ogwashi-Uku Delta State of Nigeria was said to have won the award based on her creativity and role interpretation skills which distinguished her in the movie industry locally and internationally.

The Hollywood and African Prestigious Awards (HAPA) according to the organisers is designed to honour American and African community leaders, international political figures, dignitaries and celebrities in the movies, music and comedy categories.

Speaking on her journey in the movie industry, elated Odiatu said “I dedicate this awards to God. I began my acting career in 2009 playing lead roles in church dramas and in 2014 I was discovered by Lancelot Odua a West African based movie director hence debuted in his epic movie invasion 1897.

“Since then I have featured in several commercial TV series and films in Nigeria & Uk .these are namely ‘after the I Dos in 2014 directed by Samantha Iwowo,Oxford Gardens directed by Obi Emelonye in 2016.Here & Now by Ruke Amata, Housewives & Girlfriends by Rhoda Wilso , The pastor’s wife by Tiya UK, House of Grace by Dolly Unachukwu, Broken x by Daniel Kalynga to mention few. I have however done Blood Type with Toyin Moore and Now in her new TV series of Apostle Do Good as Salon Owner.
