Paul Okoye criticises his twin, Peter Okoye, for alleged song theft

A well-known musician and half of PSquare, Paul Okoye, also known as Rudeboy, has accused his producer and twin brother, Peter Okoye, also known as Mr. P, of stealing a song.

A song called “Winning” was recently published by Mr. P after the group’s third dissolution earlier this year.

Rudeboy, however, claimed in an Instagram post that he co-wrote and performed the song with a particular producer, who then took it and gave it to his twin brother.

He asserted that his brother used the same producer he collaborated with to record the song word for word.

Rudeboy bemoaned the fact that he sent six tracks to the alleged management and asked why they were reciting his song verbatim.

He claimed that his brother recorded the song word for word with the same producer he worked with.

Rudeboy lamented that he submitted 6 songs to the so-called management and questioned why they were re-singing his song word for word.

On his Instagram page, he wrote,

“Song title: Winning

Written and sang by Rudeboy

Produced by same producer.

“Now how come? Now am I supposed to release another version? Mr Producer, your case is for another day.

“Just a simple thing: Bring 6 songs, let me bring 6 songs. I Submitted 6 songs to the so-called management. Why re-singing my own song? word for word. Song that was supposed to be in my album next year, June.”

In another post on his Instagram story, Rudeboy threatened to release the original version of any songs of his that he was being replicated.

“The days of manipulation are over!!

And to the management, make I hear any song wey na only me sing, I go release the original version.

Oloriburuku!

Music is not that hard!,” he wrote.
