PHOTO: Popular Nollywood actress who wants to be Ooni of Ife’s next Olori visits monarch

Nkechi Blessing, a Nollywood actress, paid a visit to the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwunsi, in his palace in Ile-Ife, Osun State, on Monday.

NewsClick Nigeria reports that the visit is coming a few days after Nkechi “joked” about becoming the next wife (Olori) of the monarch.

In a short statement with the photo of herself and Ooni, the actress said “I am patiently waiting for my turn”.

“Ooni of Ife sir, I am patiently waiting for my turn. thank you in advance, sir.”

However, on her Instagram handle on Monday, Blessing posted a picture of her and the monarch with the caption, “ever met a jovial king? Well this picture says it all. I have never laughed this hard in a long time. Thank you so much for the warm reception his Imperial Majesty Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja II. God bless your existence.”

Meanwhile, fans have started reacting over the picture that surfaced online owing to the recent marathon nuptials by the Ile-Ife monarch, with many seeking to know if Blessing wanted to be the eighth wife.
