The Ojude Oba Festival is a vibrant annual event celebrated by the Ijebu people in Ogun State, Nigeria. It showcases the rich cultural heritage of the Ijebu community and reflects their dedication to preserving and honoring age-old traditions.
0Held on the third day after Eid-el-Kabir, the festival marks the conclusion of the Muslim celebration and offers both first-time visitors and returning guests a unique chance to experience the color, unity, and spirit of Yoruba culture.

At this year’s event on June 7, Oreagba returned as ‘Mr Steeze’ in a regal aso-oke ensemble.
His brown agbada and sokoto were styled with silver jewellery and a bold lion-head sceptre.
Femi Branch’s traditional attire took on a modern silhouette, featuring exaggerated trousers and coral beads on his neck and wrists.
Lateef Adedimeji stepped out in a rich brown agbada adorned with fur, flowing tassels, long beads, and a Yoruba hunter-inspired cap.
The women, equally radiant, dazzled in colourful outfits and elaborate head ties.
Media personality Tomike Adeoye wore an emerald green velvet outfit, elegantly styled with shimmering gold accessories.
