Nollywood actress, Halima Abubakar has quit her acting career following her illness.

The actress who has been battling an acute illness is finally quitting her days in the movie industry.

In the latest development, the management of Halima Abubakar announced via an Instagram post that the days of her movie acting are over.

Taking to Instagram her management wrote;

This comes after Halima announced on Instagram that she had been treating an undisclosed illness for a long time.

Her manager who once opened up about handling her IG page due to the actress’ deteriorated state of health released some worrisome photos of Halima while claiming that her stomach became so big and strong like one who was expecting twins.

The actress had earlier accused the President of Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide Apostle Johnson Suleman of being responsible for the illness.

Halima began her acting career in 2001.

She has starred in movies such as Men in Love, Slip of Fate, Tears of a Child, White Hunters and Area Mama.
