Popular radio presenter, Tosin Bucknor is dead
Vivacious radio personality and singer, Oluwatosin ‘Tosyn’ Bucknor is dead.
According to reports, Bucknor was found dead by her husband, Aurelien Boyer, when he arrived at home from work on Monday night.
The versatile media personality and writer was born with sickle cell anaemia.
In November 2015, Bucknor and Aurélien Boyer had their traditional wedding surrounded by family and friends in Lagos. Five months later, they had their white wedding in France, Boyer’s home country.
Segun Bucknor, her father who was a popular musician and journalist, died in 2017.
Radio for Bucknor started with Tee-A on Eko89.7fm after which she interned at Cool 96.9fm where she hosted the Fun Hour Show on Saturdays.
During her lifetime she worked with Top Radio, and was an on-air -personality at Inspiration FM Lagos before her sad demise.
As a recording artist and singer-songwriter, she worked with artistes like Skales, Rooftop MCs and Eva, as well as producers like Sess, Tintin, Coldflames, Dj Klem, Knighthouse, Micworx and Cobhams.
