Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has publicly called out Davido on social media, accusing him of not delivering the promised verse.
Davido’s refusal to provide Portable with a verse for his new song came after their dispute in Atlanta.
Newsclick reports that they fell out in June 2024, after Portable accused Davido of giving him bad advice during their dinner in Atlanta, United States.
In response, Davido unfollowed Portable on Instagram.
However, when sharing his latest release on his official Instagram page on Sunday, Portable revealed that the song was originally supposed to include a verse promised by Davido.
He wrote on Instagram: “Na who helps you be your helper; who promises you fit change mind. As @davido no gree give me verse on this song, I don kuku drop myself. Star. Don’t beg to shine. Who go help you no go stress you.”
