Renowned Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has shared with his fans that his current fee for bookings has risen to N10 million ($10,000) per show.

The announcement was made in a viral video posted on his Instagram account on Wednesday, December 6, 2023.

This update comes in the wake of Portable’s noteworthy presence at the UK Fashion Awards, where he shared the stage with British rapper Skepta and had the opportunity to meet singer Tiwa Savage.

Elaborating on his revised pricing model, Portable revealed that the N10 million fee now covers not just live performances but also extends to collaborations with other artists, participation in music videos, ambassadorship deals, and more.

In terms of financial arrangements, Portable underscored that only 10% of the N10 million, equivalent to N1 million, will be designated for any intermediary facilitating show bookings on his behalf.

Portable declared his intention to align himself exclusively with affluent individuals, signaling a shift in his professional preferences. He expressed that such connections would contribute to his prosperity, emphasizing his lack of interest in dealings with those less privileged.

Portable noted that individuals of wealth are more likely to support one another, whereas those with less affluence tend to harbor envy rather than providing support.
