A prophecy attributed to a Nigerian cleric has drawn a response from legendary Fuji musician, Saheed Osupa.
According to report, a controversial Muslim cleric popularly known as Alpha Olopa Meta had earlier claimed that the singer will die on January 10 2026.

The cleric, who said he had pleaded with God on the singer’s behalf, also told him to buy a big ram for prayers.
However, responding to the prophecy during a live performance on Sunday, January 11, 2026, Saheed Osupa dismissed the claim, saying: “Fake Alpha and prophet, please don’t wish me dead. Anyone who wishes me dead will die in my place.”
