American singer Selena Gomez has dispelled rumours that she and producer Benny Blanco, her boyfriend, are no longer together.

On social media, there were rumours that the singer and producer had broken up.

The allegations started when one of Selena’s purported pals posted something on social media during Sabrina Carpenter’s MSG performance, implying that Selena is married and all of her friends are “single.”

Selena Gomez shared her “Juno” dance video from Sabrina Carpenter’s Madison Square Garden show on Instagram in response to the rumours. By tagging her lover, Benny Blanco, she silenced those who spread rumours.

Blanco also seemingly debunked the rumours by sharing a new photo with Selena Gomez from Disneyland.

Gomez confirmed her relationship with Benny Blanco in December 2023.

She dated The Weeknd, for a brief 10 months back in 2017, and before that, she was embroiled in a year-long, on-and-off relationship with Justin Bieber.

In a different story, Selena Gomez has disclosed that she would not be able to get pregnant because of health issues.

In a cover story for Vanity Fair that was released on Monday, Gomez discussed how her health problems have made it difficult for her to conceive naturally.

The actress said she still plans on becoming a mom one day, adding that “it’s just not going to happen necessarily the way I envisioned it”.

“I haven’t ever said this. But I unfortunately can’t carry my own children. I have a lot of medical issues that would put my life and the baby’s in jeopardy. That was something I had to grieve for a while,” she said.

“I thought it would happen the way it happens for everyone.”

Gomez, who seeks to start a family with boyfriend Benny Blanco in the future, said she is however open to surrogacy and adoption.
