Seyi Shay has taken on a mission to empower women. And to this end, the songstress is planning to host 10 selected girls for an inspirational dinner.
The award-winning singer, who recently featured Yemi Alade in her latest song ‘Pempe,’ is on a mission to empower women and support the girl child.
“Seyi is passionate about the girl child and women empowerment, she has decided to take her new song with Yemi Alade further by embarking on a journey that inspires them – females,” a statement from her media aide stated.
The statement further urged top institutions, organisations and dignitaries to further help in empowering women for the better. “It will echo the need to create safe spaces for young women who have little to no support. Seyi is also planning to have an empowerment segment to the dinner where the 10 selected girls will be empowered with a business acumen talk.”
Following up on the success of her stint as a Nigerian Idol judge, Seyi was in the news for having a closet raid, where several females benefitted from her largesse.
The closet raid will be followed by a dinner scheduled to hold before the end of July 2021.
