Ghanaian reggae-dancehall artist Shatta Wale has praised the impressive growth and global success of Nigerian music.

Following Asake’s sold-out show at the 20,000-capacity London O2 Arena on Sunday, August 20, Ghanaian reggae-dancehall artist Shatta Wale asserted that Nigerian music stars are far ahead of their Ghanaian counterparts.
He contrasted the musical talent of the two West African countries, comparing Ghana’s to baby feeding bottles and Nigeria’s to one of the world’s most expensive cognac brands.

The ‘We Taking Over’ singer also expressed his hearty congratulation to YBNL’s Asake on his incredible outing, reiterating Naija’s colossal mark on the global music stage.

He also said that Ghanaian singers could begin acquainting themselves with Nigeria if they stop making critical judgments about others.

He tweeted: “Nigerians are making Ghana music look like feeding bottle compared to Hennessey bottle. Congrats to Asake Meeenn!!! You guys deh run tooo fast …F^ck!

PS: Some Ghana men say how do they do it.

Me: when you stop judging people here like you are angels, I think we can get the formula. Naija is winning BIG TIME !!! My people.”
