Simi opens up on relationship with Falz

Popular singer Simisola Kosoko, also referred to as Simi, has disclosed that she and her colleague Falz share a strong musical “chemistry.”

The singer claimed that many people mistakenly believed that they were in a sexual connection when they were on Angela Yee’s podcast, “Way Up.”

She also made a hint about a new song she’s working on with Falz that will drop later this month.

Simi said,

“I have one more single coming out at the end of this month. I can’t say the title now but I can tell you who I’m featuring on it. It’s Falz!

“This is interesting because Falz and I have a history. Before I got married, we did an EP and everything. People thought we were dating. We had a couple of songs together and people loved them. They were like, ‘You have a good chemistry.’ So we decided to do a joint EP and we made an EP called ‘Chemistry.’ People really loved it.

“So we want to do something again for the culture. It’s kind of a funny song. I’m really excited and I can’t wait for people to hear it.”

Simi and Falz fuelled relationship suspicions after releasing their collaborative EP, ‘Chemistry’, in 2016.

After Simi married musician Adekunle Gold, her secret lover, on January 9, 2019 in Lagos, the rumours stopped. Adejare, the couple’s first child, was born in 2020.

In another story, Simi finally responded to flirty remarks made about her by producer-turned-blogger Samklef and coworker Brymo.

Remember After acknowledging that he had forced Simi to have sex while she was single before they could collaborate on music, Brymo caused a stir last year.

He claimed that after she turned down his request, he turned down her offer of cooperation.

Comparably, contentious producer Samklef recently acknowledged that, back when they were both fledgling artists, he was in love with Simi.

In response, Simi stated that she couldn’t take what Brymo and Samklef had to say about her seriously and that it was pointless in a recent interview with Angela Yee.

The mother of one said she is confused about their rhetoric and considers their actions as comedy.
