The Nigerian singer known widely as Johnny Drille, whose real name is John Ighodaro, has shared the news of the arrival of his daughter.
Drille shared this update on Thursday evening through his Instagram account.
The newborn, named Amaris, arrived on November 17, making her six weeks old today.
He wrote: “Six weeks ago today, we held in our arms our daughter for the first time. It’s hard to explain but it’s the most miraculous thing I’ve ever known.
“Never felt a greater sense of purpose to protect and to nurture. Everyday I pray to God to help me be the best father for our daughter, so help me God.”
Drille tied the knot with music executive Rima Tahini on July 4th of this year.
Tahini serves as the Director of Artiste and Repertoire (A&R) at Mavin Records, the same label to which Drille is signed.
