Nigerian musician Spyro recently praised Davido on Instagram, recognising his unwavering support and sincere generosity in the music business.
Looking back on his career, Spyro recalled times when Davido offered assistance, beginning with their initial joint effort on the song Funke in 2018. Spyro revealed how Davido shocked him by going to his gig that year in addition to appearing on the song.
Davido’s ongoing support throughout the years was acknowledged by Spyro, who also mentioned a 2022 collaboration on his song “Billing.”
According to Spyro, when his career surged in 2023, Davido’s reaction was heartfelt. During a meeting at one of his concerts, Davido expressed joy, saying, “Finally, this is what we’ve been praying for. Finally… God is good.”
Davido was characterised by Spyro as a friend who sincerely cared about the success of others. He also remembered Davido’s ecstatic congrats when he announced that he had bought an automobile that was comparable to his.
Spyro praised Davido for being one of the few people in the music business with a giving heart and acknowledged his unwavering benevolence in the face of abuse and criticism. Spyro wished Davido continued success as he wrapped up the moving homage.

He gave me my first collaboration in 2018 (Funke) ,came to surprise me at my show same 2018 ,gave me another collab in 2022(billing) and now I am winning and he is still there cheering … I told him few weeks ago I bought his type of car and his face lit up,you could literally see the happiness on his face as he congratulated me,he is just that guy that is keen on others growing ….
Say what you like about David but he is one of the few out here in this industry with a kind heart and what baffles me is that no matter the hate and smear campaign he remains kind 👏I celebrate you today my Padi ,God will keep you winning @davido.”
