‘Stop checking your partner’s phone’ – Yhemolee advises couples

Socialite and singer Idowu Adeyemi, better known by his stage name Yhemolee, has discussed the value of seclusion in intimate relationships.

He stressed the possible dangers of couples examining one other’s phones and recommended against it.

The newly wedded socialite, Yhemolee, emphasised the risks associated with phone spying, saying that it can cause psychological anguish as well as physical injury.

Yhemolee told a personal story of a buddy whose fiancée ended up in the hospital after seeing something on his phone in a video message that he put on his Instagram account.

He emphasised that there can be serious repercussions for checking one’s phone, and that the offending party can choose to go on with their lives.

In his words:

“My friend called me this morning and told me his fiancée is in the hospital struggling to breathe.

“I asked if she had any terminal illness and he said no. He said she checked his phone overnight. My point is, stop checking your partner’s phone, if you die, the person that made you lose your life will move on.

“My friend confirmed to me that if his fiancée went through his phone very well, she might not survive and even if she survives, whenever she remembers what she saw, she would be traumatised.”
