Nigerian rapper Olanrewaju Ogunmefun also known as Vector recently discussed his opinions on Nigerian celebrities getting involved in politics and urged them to think twice before endorsing particular candidates.

With the increasing number of celebrities publicly endorsing political figures, Vector voiced his dissatisfaction with individuals who appear oblivious to the plight of their followers and fellow people.

He warned that even superstars would someday suffer severe effects if the nation’s current state of poverty and poor administration persists.

Vector encouraged celebrities to reevaluate their links to political officials and give priority to the welfare of the people they represent on social media.

On his X handle, Vector wrote:

“To the celebrities taking sides against the reality of their own people/fans, it may be best to repent before you become the only reachable option if the hardship doesn’t stop. Stop supporting bad governance.”

His message comes as protests continue nationwide against the challenging circumstances faced by many Nigerians.
