The tragic news of the death of Patrick Fakoya, popularly known as Rico Swavey flew in early Thursday (today) morning with many still yet to come to terms with the ugly reality.
NewsClick Nigeria reports that Rico was involved in a ghastly car accident on Tuesday, October 11 and was subsequently placed on life support machine with high hopes that he might survive the accident.
However, despite efforts by his colleagues to launch a fundraiser to cater for his mounting medical bills at an undisclosed hospital, Rico did not make it out alive.
Here are five facts about the late BBNaija season 3 ‘Double Wahala’ housemate:
- Rico Swavey was born in 1992 and his real name, Patrick Fakoya.
- He had seven siblings and was 29 years-old when he died.
- He was a graduate of Law from Babcock University.
- Although he studied law, he loved music and became an artist before entering into the Big Brother House in.
- He was 25 years old when he got into BBNaija ‘Double Wahala’ House, which started on January 28, 2018.
- He was evicted on April 8, 2018
- Two years ago, he released a song titled ‘Afrosantana’ and also featured on the movie set of Tinsel and Life 101 drama series.
- Rico loved singing and swimming and he had said that he was very good at them.
