To get rich quickly in Nigeria, you have to lose your morals – Gbemi O

Media personality Gbemi Olateru Olagbegi has sparked internet debate after disclosing what it takes to obtain rapid cash and cheap fame in Nigeria.

Gbemi claimed on the micro-blogging network X (previously Twitter) that in order to advance quickly in the country, one must be willing to forgo “home training, shame, and morals.”

She then posed a rhetorical question to her followers, asking if that was the kind of success they truly desired. Gbemi Olateru Olagbegi tweeted:

“If you want to be rich and famous quickly in this country, you have to lose your home training/shame/morals. Is that the kind you want though?”
