Social media sensation Toke Makinwa paused to contemplate her past years and offer thanks to God as she enters the new year and a new phase of her life.
She shared that God removed burdens that were holding her back, allowing her to grow, and expressed her desire to never experience uncertainty in her life again.

She said: “03/11: Happy birthday Omotoke. Going into 39 feeling super blessed. The past 3 years of my life have been my pruning years. God stripped me of much dead weight when we pray for growth, we never talk about the shedding that has to happen. Little did I know that as he was removing, he was giving so much more back. It needed to happen. God forbid I entered into this phase unsure of my purpose. I am so happy, so blessed, so thankful.”
