The Nollywood movie ‘Oversabi Aunty’ has surpassed ₦1 billion in box office revenue, securing its place as the fourth highest-earning Nollywood film in history.
Film distributor FilmOne announced the feat on Instagram, disclosing that the film grossed ₦1,017,201,953 from cinemas across West Africa. With this, Oversabi Aunty also becomes the first directorial debut in Nollywood to cross the ₦1 billion threshold.
FilmOne, in a celebratory message, expressed appreciation to audiences across the region, hailing the milestone as a major triumph and a moment of pride for the Nigerian film industry.
